The Municipal Chief Executive for Obuasi, Mr. Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi, has cautioned the youth of Obuasi to stay away from negative social lifestyles that will have a negative effect on their training and schooling.

Delivering his address at the 59th Independence anniversary parade at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi, last Sunday the Municipal Chief Executive asked the youth to be cautious of their lives

“As we are making all efforts to scale down the prevalence, it is my plea that our youth will change their negative lifestyles. They are in their formative years and they need to be careful. I appeal to you to heed to sound advice from your parents and church leaders”, he stated.

According to him, the youth must avoid night clubs, promiscuity and take their schooling and training serious.

Mr. Ofori Agyemang Boadi also advised parents to take the mantle of responsibility and prevent their wards from falling into the hands of unscrupulous individuals.
