Covenant House Chapel Obuasi has marked a significant milestone, celebrating 30 years of spreading the gospel and serving the Lord. The anniversary event, held on March 10, 2026, brought together members from branches across the country as well as prominent men of God in Ghana. The church, established on March 10, 1996, reflected on its journey of growth and impact over the past three decades.
In his sermon, Senior Minister Bishop George Kingsley Amoako recounted the humble beginnings of the church, which started in a classroom, and praised God for how far it has come. He also shared a forward-looking vision for the next 10 to 20 years, with a strong focus on training young ministers to take the gospel beyond borders.
The celebration featured notable speakers including Rev Dr Steve Mensah, Rev Dr Ampiah Kwoffie, Bishop Hansiel Adjei Frimpong, Chairman William Abeiku, and Rev Chap Awuah. Their messages inspired and encouraged attendees throughout the event.
In his closing remarks, Bishop Amoako expressed heartfelt gratitude, describing the celebration as memorable and praying for renewed strength and greater impact in the years ahead.
The anniversary was a joyful and spiritually uplifting occasion, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
