First Ten Students Sponsored by POB Foundation Graduate from SMET Mining and Engineering Training School in Obuasi

The first batch of ten students sponsored by POB Foundation has successfully graduated from SMET Mining and Engineering Training School in Obuasi.

Lawyer Prince Owusu Bonah, CEO of Success Links Consult, as part of his social corporate responsibility, sponsored the ten students to undergo skills development training at the institution.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony, Lawyer Prince Owusu Bonah said it has always been his dream to enroll young people into skills development programmes so they can earn a living, put food on the table, and take care of their families.

He urged the students to take their training seriously and work hard to achieve their goals.

Mr. Isaac Kwabena Yeboah, Administrator of SMET Mining and Engineering Training School, applauded Lawyer Prince Owusu Bonah for his commitment to supporting the youth of Obuasi through skills training.

According to Mr. Isaac, the training will help shape the mindset of the students and equip them with the necessary knowledge and practical intelligence regarding mining activities in Ghana.

Some of the graduating students expressed their appreciation and gratitude to Lawyer Prince Owusu Bonah for the opportunity, noting that the skills acquired will have a positive and lasting impact on their lives and their contributions to society.
