Obuasi, Ghana – Galaxy Foundation Ghana will on Saturday, 14th February 2026, conduct a comprehensive medical review of 100 needy patients who previously benefited from free reconstructive and general surgical procedures funded by Bawa Rock Ltd.
The review exercise will take place at St. Jude Hospital, Obuasi, starting at 8:00 a.m.
The patient review forms part of Galaxy Foundation Ghana’s commitment to ensuring quality post-surgical outcomes, proper healing, and long-term wellbeing of beneficiaries who received life-changing medical care during the foundation’s recent free surgical missions.
The surgeries addressed a wide range of medical conditions, including cleft lip and palate, post-burn contractures, extra or fused fingers and toes, tumors, swellings, and other general surgical conditions. These interventions have significantly improved the health, dignity, and quality of life of vulnerable individuals who would otherwise not have had access to such care.

The review exercise will involve medical assessments, follow-up consultations, and patient feedback, aimed at evaluating surgical outcomes, identifying any post-operative needs, and strengthening future healthcare outreach programs.
Speaking on the initiative, the management of Galaxy Foundation Ghana expressed sincere appreciation to Bawa Rock Ltd for their generous support and partnership.
“This review is not only a medical follow-up but a demonstration of our shared commitment to compassion, accountability, and sustainable healthcare delivery. We are deeply grateful to Bawa Rock Ltd for making it possible for 100 vulnerable people to receive free, quality surgical care and continued follow-up,” the Foundation noted.
Galaxy Foundation Ghana reaffirmed its mission to champion accessible healthcare for the underprivileged, while calling on stakeholders, partners, and corporate organizations to continue supporting initiatives that transform lives and protect the futures of vulnerable populations.
