Immediate past Obuasi Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi has disclosed on Shaft FM’s Super Morning Show with Akwesi Agudey earlier today he regrets being the first gentleman of the Obuasi Municipality.
The former MCE who doubles as as a journalist and a Businessman, was being interviewed on how the municipal assembly’s only grader was sold during his tenure without the notice of residents; stated that , the grader was auctioned on authority and he was not directly involved.
“Akwesi, we made an announcement in the nation’s dailies; Daily Graphic, Ghanaian Times and Ashanti Region’s popular, The Pioneer calling on interested persons to come for the auction, so where did I directly come in”.
“Ahhh, when im in my closet and hear some of these allegations, I ask myself what at all I came to do there at the office”, he bemoaned.
The host of the show also spoke to a Deputy Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Anthony Kenneth Bucknor who admitted the Grader was faulty and was becoming a liability, was auctioned via proper channel.
