A man believed to be in his early 30s has been found murdered and secretly buried under dried grass at Gomoa Mamfam, a suburb of Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
According to reports, the lifeless body was discovered by residents who were drawn to the scene by a strong, unpleasant odour in the area. The body was found concealed under dried grass in front of an uncompleted building.
In an interview with local resident Nana Ansah, Napoleon Mensah recounted that they began to suspect something was wrong due to the foul smell that persisted in the area. A search led to the grim discovery of the decomposing body buried under the grass.
The Awutu Bereku District Police Command has since retrieved and buried the decomposed body. Investigations are underway to identify the deceased and apprehend the perpetrators behind this gruesome act.
