MTN Heroes of Change: David Hagan Selected Among Ten Finalists In Its Sixth Edition

MTN Ghana has selected 10 individuals who have made significant impact in various communities in the country during the Covid-19 pandemic to compete in its Heroes of Change series.
The challenge, which falls under MTN Ghana foundation, aims at identifying and recognising selfless people who continue to sacrifice their time and resources to improve their communities and brighten lives.

The 10 finalists, Cecilia Fiaka, David Hagan, Ebeyeyie Foundation, Gloria Sarkodie, Henry A.
Ankrah, Patience Agana, Portia Gabor, Prof. K.
Bobi Barimah, Prof. William K. Ampofo and Rhoda Wedam Kodoa had contributed either in Health, Education or Economic development.

This Season is about ordinary people who took the initiative during a difficult period to help others.

David Hagan is the founder of Galaxy Foundation Ghana. Galaxy Foundation Ghana is a Ghanaian based non-government, non-profit organization which seeks to bring smiles to the medically hopeless and poor people living in rural Ghana. Over 320 lives have been changed through the JOURNEY FROM DESPAIR TO HOPE PROJECTS. The projects which corrects anomalies and deformities such as cleft lip and palate, post burn contractures, keloids , syndactyly, tumors and other swellings for free.
Parallelly free medical screening have been conducted to over 11,000 people living in various deprived communities and orphanages.
Through the good works of the foundation, the chairman, founder, DAVID HAGAN was awarded at the 2019 MTN Heroes of change and has received many other recognitions.
Galaxy foundation was founded at the end of 2012 with the aim of helping the poor and needy and those who are most fragile and vulnerable.
