In less than 3 weeks, lorry fares in Obuasi have gone up by 40%. According to the drivers union, Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) in Obuasi, the latest approved fares took effect yesterday, 2nd November 2022 though some drivers in Obuasi were waiting for the official price sheet as proof so that there wouldn’t be issues with passengers.
