As part of efforts to boost women’s participation in local football, businessman and community advocate Prince Owusu Bonnah has donated 30 jerseys to dedicated female supporters of Ashantigold 04 FC.
According to Prince Bonnah, the jerseys were distributed free of charge to some of the club’s most loyal female fans ahead of yesterday’s game against Future Stars. The gesture, he explained, is part of his broader commitment to strengthening community involvement and ensuring that women feel seen, valued, and included in the local football space.
The match ended in a 1–0 victory for AshantiGold, a win that further strengthened the club’s impressive performance this season. Ashantigold now sits 1st on the Access Bank Division One League table for the 2025/2026 season, with 20 points after 8 games.
