The family of the late Thomas Freeman has officially launched the Thomas Freeman Foundation to continue his dream of supporting vulnerable people in society.
According to the family, the foundation was established to provide assistance to people in urgent need, particularly in areas such as financial support, food, clothing, and education. The foundation also intends to extend support to orphanage homes, schools, prisons, churches, and hospitals.
Speaking at the launch, the Executive Director of the foundation, Linda Tiwaah Yeboah, said the initiative was inspired by a plan Freeman had before his death.

She explained that Freeman had intended to establish a non-governmental organisation in honour of their late mother, an idea he shared with the family while he was alive. After his passing, the family decided to carry on with the vision in his memory.
A sister of the late Freeman, Rita Antwi Boasiako, called on stakeholders and the public to support the foundation so it can reach more people and expand its impact.

Also speaking at the event, Apostle Ntim Yeboah Gyakari urged individuals who are financially capable to support those in need, noting that people in society have different circumstances and should help one another where possible.
As part of activities marking the launch, the foundation donated items worth GH¢8,000 to the Patmos Orphanage Home located at Tewobaabi.
Items presented included bags of rice, toilet rolls, washing powder, bottled water, cooking oil, boxes of Indomie noodles, drinks, and other essential supplies.
