It might be long overdue but finally the golden city is going to have one, a television station! Going by the name Golden TV, the station will provide the latest local, international and entertainment news across the globe.
Speaking to an insider who wished not to be named, the station will first of all begin from the online version of their channel which could be watched on all social media platforms and then to digital from the middle of next year. A host of top journalists and presenters in Obuasi have been approached to join the station. A top presenter in one of the top radio stations in Obuasi has agreed to join and the paperwork is still on-going.
Golden TV will be the first television station in the golden city and the managers of the station, EGS Entertainment Media, has promised to add a radio station in the near future to compete with the already established stations in Obuasi.
