Management of AngloGold Ashanti Schools in Obuasi has informed parents that the schools will be closed down temporarily due to a demonstration by some youth of Obuasi which is expected to take place tomorrow, 21st June, 2022.
According to a letter sighted by Obuasitoday.com, the closure is a “safety and precautionary measure”.
Studies will resume at the schools on Wednesday, 22nd, June, 2022. The closure will also affect the WB School.
Earlier today, Obuasitoday.com reported the planned demonstration by some youth of Obuasi. The demonstration will take place tomorrow, 22nd June, 2022, along the principal streets of Obuasi. .
