Nana Kwabena Yeboah (Abrewa)
Kwabena Yeboah who is broadly known in Adansi and beyond as Abrewa is a Ghanaian Media personality, broadcast journalist and MC. He is currently the Head of News, News editor and news anchor at Aseda FM.
Personal Life and Education
Nana Kwabena Yeboah hails from Nsuta – Asuafu in the Ashanti Region, the 2nd child of five of his parents. He started primary education at Bidieso M/A Basic School in Obuasi from KG to Junior High School and completed JHS in 2004.
He had his secondary education at Nsutaman Catholic SHS where he read General Arts. From there, he enrolled at the Radio and Television Network in Kumasi from 2008 to 2009 and in 2017 had his 1st Degree in Bachelor of Art in Communication from the Christian Service University College.
The Radio Journey/Career
Mr. Yeboah was very passionate about radio as he used to run commentary for Bideiso JHS during school-friendly games and continued at SHS at Inter-School Games. His dream was to become a House-Hold name in Sports Journalism as it was a talent from infancy.
The Nsutaman Catholic Senior High School Graduate nurtured his dream for radio at Obuasi-based Shaft FM 98.1 MHz in 2009 after radio school. He entered into Radio through Sofo Kaakyire of Church of Christ, Obuasi Central who took him to Prof. Malik, then News Editor at Shaft FM. At Shaft FM, he doubled as a News Anchor and the Host of ‘Adansi Mu Nsem’. He made the program one of the best in the Adansi enclave for 3 years.
In 2012, Abrewa moved to Time FM 96.1 MHz where he became the Morning Show Host and News Caster for Six (6) years. Later, he led Angel Broadcasting Network’s O FM Morning Show for two years and then went back to Time FM for 6 months.
Currently, Nana K. Yeboah is with Jegien Enterprise Limited’s Aseda FM 92.3 MHz as the Head of News, Editor and birthed ‘Ghana Nti’ Morning Show at Aseda FM. He was the face behind the Aseda FM Morning Show until Obarima Kwadwo Gyamfi took over from him in February 2022.
