Robert Ali Tanti, the Executive Director for Youth Alliance for Development, has been nominated for the Education Community Awards 2017. The nomination comes behind a successful campaign being run by his NGO, Youth Alliance for Development, called the Anti-Teenage Pregnancy Campaign which has being taking place in the Adansi South District and its environs.
The purpose of the Education Community Awards (EDUCOM AWARDS) is to recognise all the valuable educational related work that is undertaken within schools and communities across Ghana by schools, students/pupils, parents, media houses, publishers, agencies, NGOs and other individuals or organisations.
For the past three years, Robert Ali Tanti through his NGO has helped a lot of teenagers through his Anti-Teenage Pregnancy Campaign in the Adansi South District and Obuasi Municipality. A weekly radio show on OFM in Obuasi by Youth Alliance for Development from time to time also educates the public on teenage pregnancy.
“On behalf of the organizing team of the awards, we wish you all the best. Meanwhile keep up the good work where you are, as we collaborate to promote the education sector in Ghana”, said the letter which indicated Ali’s nomination and signed by Grant Bulmuo, the Chairman of the Awards Committee.
The 2nd annual EDUCOM awards is scheduled for Saturday the 19th of August 2017 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
