In a move to enhance healthcare delivery in Ghana’s northern sector, The Church of Pentecost on June 18, 2025, officially commissioned its state-of-the-art 35-bed Pentecost Hospital in Kumbagre, a suburb of Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.
This remarkable facility, dubbed an “AI Hospital,” merges modern medical infrastructure with advanced artificial intelligence systems to set a new standard for quality healthcare in the region. The hospital is designed to improve diagnostic accuracy, assist medical professionals in decision-making, and streamline patient care and management processes.

With this project, The Church of Pentecost aims to address the longstanding challenges of limited access to quality healthcare in the Upper East Region. The hospital is not only expected to serve residents of Bolgatanga and its surrounding communities but also to extend its services to neighboring regions and cross-border areas in northern Ghana and beyond.
