Citi FM’s Literacy challenge finalists visit Databank

Preparations are earnestly underway for the grand finale of Citi FM’s Literacy Challenge with the ten selected finalists.

The ten, who were selected from a total of 50 semi-finalists across the country, will be engaged in a series of mentorship sessions and industry visits before the final show this Saturday.

The ten visited and toured the DataBank headquarters at No.61 Barnes Avenues Adabraka, Accra to acquaint themselves with the activities of one of the sponsors for this year’s event.

The ten finalists are camping at the Swiss Spirit Hotel & Suites Alisa.

The camping session is to keep the students relaxed and adequately prepared for the final event which comes off on Saturday.

The finalists made it through the first two stages of the competition, where they first wrote an essay with a number of people on a given topic.

This was followed by an aptitude test, quizzing them on general knowledge and current affairs.

The ultimate winner stands the chance of taking home the ultimate prize of ten thousand cedis.

The 2018 Literacy Challenge is sponsored by Databank Edifund, Databank and MoneyGram with support from CITI TV.
