MLS side D.C. United have completed the signing of Ghanaian winger Lloyd Ekow Sam.
The 31-year-old joined the Red and Black boys from New York Red Bull in exchange for General Allocation Money.
“Lloyd is a dangerous winger and has challenged us for years with the Red Bulls,” said Dave Kasper, DC United General Manager
“He is a creative player who not only generates many chances from wide areas with quality service but he is also a proven goal scorer.”
The Ghana international netted 20 goals and made 22 assists in 106 appearances for the Red Bulls.
Sam was handed a call-up in Black Stars friendly against Canada in October last year.
