The much anticipated Youth Revolution Conference organised by Prince Ampofo’s Plancenta comes off this Friday and Saturday in Obuasi and you can attend the event free of charge if you have a book to donate to the obuasi Library Complex.
This year, Placenta has decided to help stock the Obuasi Library Complex and they intend to do so by receiving books instead of money for their tickets. The ticket gives one acess to participate in the Young Achivers Dialogue on Friday, 21st July, 2017 at the Cofkans Hotel and the Young Revolution conference on Saturday at the Living Word Assemblies of God, church, Anyinam.
The Young Achievers Dialogue is an educative panel discussion with young people engaged in civic, business, social or community initiatives which better the lives of individuals in their community. Discussions will go into how practically, today’s youth can overcome challenges in starting their own initiatives. Panelists on the dialogue include Joshua Ahenkorah, Gospel Artiste, Jonathan Adzokpe, an Assistant Lecturer at KNUST and Hon. Frank Danyansah, Politician and an award wining estate developer. Others include George Toko, an IT Expert & Head of Projects at Placenta and Nana Owusu Achau, a Real Estate Developer and CEO of Kings Realty.
There will also be a speed mentoring session on Saturday at the Youth Revolution Conference.
The books will officially be donated to the Obuasi librarian on Friday, 21st July at 9am in a short ceremony.
