Public gatherings including conferences, workshops, funerals, festivals, political rallies, sporting events and religious events such as services in churches and mosques have been suspended for the next 4 weeks, President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo revealed as measures to combat coronavirus.
Private burials could be organised but with limited numbers not exceeding 25 in attendance. The President believes these could help to fight the pandemic in the country where 6 cases have already been confirmed.
Earlier today, the ministry of information organised a press conference to reveal the new figures and released a link where Ghanaians could monitor COVID-19 cases in the country, http://www.ghanahealthservice.org/covid19/.
