Here are the top four suspects responsible for Captain Mahama’s death

Four prime suspects arrested in connection with the murder of a military officer have been sent to the Central Regional Police Headquarters in Cape Coast.

Captain Maxwell Mahama met his untimely death when some residents of Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region lynched him.

The suspects were arrested by the police and sent to the Regional headquarters for further interrogation.

A fifth suspect who sustained bullet wounds during a struggle with the lynched Captain Maxwell Mahama is also at the hospital.

The Central Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Irene Oppong, speaking to the media said “security situation is under control after a meeting with the District Security Council (DISEC) this morning.”

Meanwhile, 50 persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of a military officer.

The Director of Public Relations of the Ghana Armed Forces, Colonel Aggrey-Quarshie in an interview on Accra-based Citi FM said about 50 men have been rounded up in the Upper West Denkyira district in connection with the heinous crime.
