Koffekrom Church of Pentecost Donates to Abdullam Orphanage

The Koffekrom Church of Pentecost under the Anyinam District in Obuasi has supported the Abdullam Children’s home with bags of rice, sachet water, cooking oil, soft drinks, toiletries and an undisclosed cash, all amounting to Gh6,500.


The gesture forms part of the Church’s vision to give back to society under its transformational agenda.
Presenting the items to the Orphanage, the Anyinam District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost , Seth Asare Offei Badu said the Church has made it a tradition to always give back to society, by supporting the vulnerable and less privileged in the society.


He seized the opportunity to commend the management of the orphanage for the great vision to take care of the orphans who come from Obuasi and neighbouring communities.


“As a church we continue to give to the needy and the vulnerable in the society as the Bible teaches us. This is our commitment to the teachings of the Lord which ask us to love one another “


The man of God further applealed to other religious bodies and individuals who are touched by the Holy spirit to also extend a helping hand to the orphanage.
Receiving the items, the Director of the home, Pastor James Sundia, thanked the church and urged them to continue supporting the less privileged.


He made a passionate appeal to other NGOs and institutions to come to their aid as the orphanage is highly challenged judging from the ernomous responsibilities on its shoulders.
