Kumasi Asante Kotoko have cried foul about the reception given to them by their Kenyan opponents Kariobangi sharks ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup first leg clash.
The Kumasi giants will face Kariobangi Sharks in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup encounter this Saturday in Kenya.
Asante Kotoko have complained that the hosts have given them a grassless pitch to train on and have also given to the team a below par bus during their stay in the East African country.
Edmund Ackah, the Accra rep of Kotoko who accompanied the team to Kenya in an interview with Silver FM poured out the level of frustration the two times champions of Africa are going through ahead of their clash against Kariobangi Sharks.
Kotoko also took to their Twitter handle to make express their displeasure over the happenings in Kenya ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup encounter.
“We made a request to Kariobangi Sharks for a change of bus, but our plea has been turned down with the explanation that it will inflate their budget”.
