Earlier this year, Catherine Adjei Wiafe was crowned the overall winner in the Miss University of Education, Winneba beauty pageant. Catherine is a product of the famous Obuasi Secondary Technical and currently stays in Obuasi. She became the talk of town for a very long time after she won the crown.
As her fame starts to dim and Obuasi is becoming quieter, a bigger news has popped up. Marilyn from Obuasi is also contesting for Miss UEW 2018!

Marilyn Akasi Nwozah resides at Gausu Extension in Obuasi. She is 24 years old and she is a Christian. She worships with the Voice of the Kingdom Church which is located at the Bossman bus stop. Her spiritual father is the “Keys of David” man, Rev. Enoch Akwaboah.
If you care to know, she had her basic education at Just Love Schools. She belongs to a lot of Christian organisations in Obuasi including Young Vanguard of Christ (YOVAC), Melodians of the Spirit, Young and Wise Ghana and PLACENTA.
