WORD24/7 Inspirations from Joel Asiaw: Building The Church 3

It is Obvious that a believer’s strength is based on his knowledge about the Lord Jesus Christ, the word made flesh.

God wants to build His church but we can stop Him through ignorance.

In John Chapter 4,after the Samaritan woman had a revelation of who Jesus is,she went to the village in verse 28 and 29 to spread her encounter with the Messiah to the village folks and this revelation brought the villagers to Christ because they believed in what He told the woman. (Verse 39-41)

The villagers made a profound statement in verse 42,”A lot more people entrusted their lives to him when they heard what he had to say. They said to the woman, “We’re no longer taking this on your say-so. We’ve heard it for ourselves and know it for sure. He’s the Savior of the world!”

This statement shows how a strong church is built. Let’s assume the woman was the pastor, she lead them to Jesus and they now know who Jesus is not based on what the Pastor said but what they have also heard Jesus say to them.(rhema) 1 John 1:3
If the church remains stoic in eating the living bread for themselves, but rely on the knowledge of what they have heard about Jesus they will be prevailed like the seven sons were prevailed.

Jesus never decided to stay in Samaria, they begged or convinced Him to stay for two days and they received a revelation from Him.This confirms the scripture that,”Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6

God’s church will not be filled with power and strength if the leaders are not preaching deeper revelations of the word or Jesus to the members for them to receive personal rhema from God.
The moment the members begin to stop been thirsty for Him,they will run out of knowledge of who they are in Christ, which is power and abundant grace combined.

May grace (God’s favor) and peace (which is [a]perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.2 Peter 1:2
Paul knowing this prayed, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:”.Ephesians 1:17

It is through the constant outpouring of the revelational knowledge of Christ that His church can really be built.
Know who you are by a personal revelation of Jesus.
Don’t miss out on today’s revelation. It is based on who you are that God builds His church.Peter was a rock,Who are you?
God is always talking.
Be in the flow and be led.

God bless you.
