A Massive Turn Out as Obuasi East MCE Hon. William Kofi Adzowu Participates in a Clean-up Exercise

A massive clean-up exercise has been held at Tutuka, the Central Business District of the Obuasi East Municipal, on Saturday, 5th July 2025, as part of the Assembly’s Sanitation and Environment management efforts.

The clean-up exercise is geared towards improving public health, promoting environmental cleanliness, and fostering community participation in maintaining a healthy environment.

In his address before the clean-up exercise, the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. William Kofi Adzowu said the exercise is intended to rekindle the communal spirit in residents and also maintain a cleaner environment.

He then appealed to residents to come out in their numbers and take part in the clean-up exercise.

Hon. Adzowu also tasked the people of Obuasi East to assume responsibility for their environment and help protect it.

The Chief Executive was joined by Hon. Samuel Aboagye Deputy Director General Protocol/Relief NADMO, Assembly Members, Officers from Ghana Fire Service, Keeping Obuasi Clean Campaign Team, Heads of Departments and Staff of the Obuasi East Municipal Assembly.
