A group called Amansie Central Youth Association has been launched at Jacoubou in the Ashanti Region to foster unity and development in the district. The launch was used to also outdoor its seven-member executive board.
Amansie Central Youth Association is a non-partisan association aimed at uniting the youth at the Amansie Central district towards contributing their quota in developing the district. The group used the occasion of its launch to also kickstart their 1 Student 10 Exercise Books Project. Under the project, 20,000 exercise books will be bought to support students in the district.
The President of the Association, John Ankrah said the group hopes to bring peace between the various stakeholders to enable development to come to the district.
“This is time for the various stakeholders and entire citizenry to unite and move in the same direction to bring development to the district. We are calling on everyone to come on board and support this association to ensure the youth are well equipped with the skills, expertise and ability to accomplish every task in their life endeavors,” He said.
“Together as one, we can build a better district with jobs, good roads, and numerous human resource personal and developmental projects” he added.
The launch of the Association was attended by the chiefs and leaders of the Amansie Central District.
