Ashanti Gold SC proved to be too strong for Medeama SC in the return leg of a friendly encounter at the Len Clay stadium on Saturday.
It was the second leg of the friendly between the Elephants and the Mauves and Yellow.

The hosts opened the scoring in the early stages of the game at the Len Clay Sports Stadium when Amos Addai scored on the 8th minute after an excellent effort by Sadick Adams.
The Elephants doubled their lead in the 29th minute when Eric Donkor scored a screamer with a left footed drive from the edge of the box to beat goalkeeper Yaw Ansah Fufuro.
Five minutes to recess, Medeama SC were awarded a penalty after Kwasi Donsu was brought down in the box by goalkeeper Robert Dabuo miscalculated effort to save the ball.
Kwame Boateng stepped up to score from the spot to make it 2-1 before halftime.
The visitors failed to equalize despite their second half dominance of the game.
Substitute Daniel Gozar completed the victory for the Miners when he pounced on a rebound to score the third.
