Peter Famiyeh Bozah, known by the stage name Fameye, and Dada Kwakye Duah aka Dada KD will be performing at a pre-vals day event at the AngloGold Ashanti Club House in Obuasi today, 13th February 2022.
Fameye was supposed to be in Obuasi during the Christmas season last year to perform alongside legendary highlife artiste, Pat Thomas, but couldn’t show up due to situations that were beyond his control. This time around, the musician has confirmed in a video that he will not disappoint.
Fameye is best known for his single “Nothing I Get”. He released a remix of the song which featured Article Wan, Medikal and Kuami Eugene. He was a member of MTN Hitmaker Season 3. He won an award for the best new artist of the year at the 2020 VGMA’s.
Dada Kwakye Duah aka Dada KD is also a contemporary highlife musician known for his love songs. He got inclined into music when he was seven years old. By the age of 15, he had already started as a musical instrumentalist and played in church. He has released hit songs such as Fatia Fata Nkrumah, Ano do Nwere A, Ade Akye among others.
Today’s event is organized by Impressive Colours and the rate is GHc10. The program starts 5pm.
