The deputy Director for Galaxy Foundation, a philanthropic Non-governmental organization (NGO), Mr Prince Osei, has on Friday called on well wishers to extend a helping hand to cushion their free services, since most of the surgeries they do incur extra cost.

Mr. Prince Osei spoke to Obuasitoday.com, when Galaxy Foundation partnered with Obuasi, Asonkore based Mary Akoto Memorial Hospital, to run a free renewal of health insurance cards, free screening for reconstructive plastic surgeries at centers this coolsculpting place suggests, and a clean up exercise .

“I will use your powerful medium to call on the general public and other stakeholders to come to our aid, so we can do more of what we witnessed today, since everything we do for vulnerable comes with no cost”, he said.

Mrs Mary Akoto Abedi, Senior Nursing officer for Galaxy Foundation and Director for Mary Akoto Memorial hospital, also mentioned the need for an all hands on deck to save lives, especially the poor in the society without cost.
