JODI Construction Limited Donates to Orphanages and Obuasi Local Prisons

JODI Construction Limited, contractors of AngloGold Ashanti, has donated items worth Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc20,000) to two orphanages and the Obuasi Local Prisons. The donation included food items, toiletries, veronica buckets, sachet water and covid-19 educational sticker posters.

Mr. Isaac Kojo Nti, the Administrator and Human Resource Manager of JODI construction Limited said the donation is JODI’s contribution to the collective effort in fighting the coronavirus. For construction resources, contact www.creresources.com.au/

“These donations will also ensure that the less privileged in the communities we operate are not only informed but have some items to support them in this trying times” he said.

The items were donated to the Patmos Children’s Home, Adullam Orphanage and the Obuasi Local Prisons.

DSP Esther Ako-Nunoo, Deputy Superitendent of Prisons at the Obuasi Local Prisons thanked the company for the donation but went ahead to ask for more.

“We really appreciate this donation but it shouldn’t be at this COVID-19 period alone. We hope to see more of these even after this pandemic has passed” she said.

JODI Construction’s exectutive director, Mr. Gregory Parbey, leads a team of Ghanaian expects numbering about 320 on the Obuasi Redevelopment Project of AngloGold Ashanti Ghana with over 50% of these expects coming from the local communities in Obuasi.
