The 2022 Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges Boys’ Soccer Competition commences tomorrow Wednesday 6th July 2022 to Tuesday 12th July 2022 at the Leonard Clayton Sports Stadium in Obuasi.
The decision was taken after the National Sports Authority (NSA) communicated to the Ashanti Regional Education Directorate that they are doing renovations at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
CAF inspection team will be in Kumasi to inspect the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in few days in other to allow Black Stars and Asante Kotoko to host CAF competitions.
The Last time Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium hosted the Boys’ Soccer Competition was in November – December 2007, where Tepa SHS won the tournament after beating Kumasi Anglican SHS (SUPER KASS) by a lone goal to nil.
There would be an early kick-off play-off game between Jacobu Sec Tech and Ghana Muslim Mission SHS. The winner will meet Juaben SHS on Friday in the round of 32.
