Yesterday, the Obuasi East District Assembly was inaugurated and as reported by Obuasitoday.com, work at the new assembly has started earnestly. Obuasitoday.com has intercepted a letter from the Office of the Head of Local Government Service on the transfer of 5 officers to the newly created district and they include the Coordinating Director, Planning Officer, Human Resource Manager and two Administrative officers.
Below are their names and where they were transferred from:
- Victoria Akyeaa Adomako is the new Coordinating Director. She was transferred from Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly and she was a Deputy Coordinating Director before her transfer.
- Agyemang Jones is also a Development Planning Officer transferred from Atwima Kwanwoma. He will be the new Planning Officer for the newly created district.
- Stella Frimpong is from the Adansi North District Assembly and will be the new Human Resource Manager.
- Angela Boamah Asante from Akim North District Assembly is an Administrative Officer
- Abdalla Shamsu from Kumasi Metro is also an Administrative Officer
