Gospel music lovers will be thrilled this Sunday at the Living Word Assemblies of God when Music Minister Joshua Ahenkorah and his friends storm the Golden city with their Jesus Project Ministry’s Returning to Our First Love 2016 under the theme ‘Fill Me Up’.
Minister Joshua Ahenkorah, who leads the Angelic voices to call on the heavens to fill the audience up is an anointed young singer who never ceases to wow any audience he stands before to worship his God through singing.
Lets take some few minutes to know more of this wonderful young minister of God.
Born on May 19th 1992 to Mr. Cudjoe Asuah Ahenkorah and Madam Elizabeth Ahenkorah in Obuasi; young Joshua attended AngloGold Ashanti Primary and Junior High Schools and later preceded to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where he read Bsc Painting and Sculpture.
Music Life
Young Joshua, who started singing at a tender age saw he could propagate the Word of God through his song ministrations, came together with other spirit intensified young men to start Jesus Project Ministry.
Minister Joshua is a God fearing young man and that was also evident when he revealed to sindefeated.com his mission and vision in life.
“My aim in life is to do my Master’s will and my vision is to reach out to the body
of Christ, encourage them, revive them through the grace of God”, he told sindefeated.com.
Minister Joshua Ahenkorah also takes inspiration from Ace Gospel Artistes Sonnie Badu and Joe Mettle.
Asked on what makes him happy, Minister Joshua gave us a simple but godly answer.
“Being in tune with God makes me happy”, he said.
He believes his vision determines his pace and therefore walks with the mantra, ‘My Vision, My Flight’.
Minister Joshua worships at House of Prayer Embassy and he says he looks up to being like his father.
Minister Joshua gave us a peep into how he wants his future to be and that didn’t come as a surprise.
“I want to become a recording Artist”, he revealed.
On Sunday at the Living Word Assemblies of God Church at Anyinam behind Mawuli Hotel, is where all the fun would be taking place with a lot of activities before and during the event. Right at 5pm, the photoshoot and red carpet interviews start and that would be handled by the ever eloquent Samuel Nana Afful.
Performing alongside Minister Joshua Ahenkorah are Ministers Jeshurun Okyere, Onasis and Kwaku.
There will be free buses to join home after the event.
