Obuasi Senior High Technical School has won the maiden edition of the Sci-Tech Innovation Challenge. Over the course of two days, exhibitors from across Ghana displayed their innovative science and technology for the general public.
Obuasi SHTS who was the overall winner received a cash reward of GH20,000 for the team and GH10,000 in science equipment for the school.
Aggrey Memorial SHS also earned a cash prize of GH₵17,000 to the team, and GH₵8,000 worth of science equipment to the school, for placing second in the maiden edition of the Sci-Tech Innovation Challenge.
For Prempeh College, for coming as 2nd Runners-up, the team walked away with a cash prize of GH₵15,000 to the team, and GH₵5,000 worth of science equipment to the school.
As a consolation prize, the remaining seven schools each received GH₵5,000 with GH₵4,000 of it going to the team, and GH₵1,000 worth of science equipment to the school.
The 2021 edition of the Sci-Tech Fair took place at the Academic City University College campus in Haatso.

Mfantsipim School – COVINFO E-learning platform
