The Obuasi Municipal Assembly will organize a parade involving schools and other groups at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports stadium to mark 65th Independence day anniversary of the Republic of Ghana.
The event will witness 20 Junior High and Primary schools take part in a march past. Again, there will be 2 Senior High schools as well as 3 cadet corps from the Municipality involved.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Obuasi Honorable Elijah Adansi-Bonah will give the keynote address. The Member of Parliament for Obuasi West, Hon. Kwaku Kwarteng will also be in attendance.
