The Obuasi Municipal General Assembly has summoned the Morning Show Host of Shaft, Akwesi Agudey, to appear before the Assembly on Friday, 3rd February, 2017, according to an intercepted letter.
According to the letter, the Morning show host of Adansi Communications’ Shaft Fm made some comments on his show on 26th January, 2017 which didn’t go down well with the Assembly members. He has also been asked to come along with the audio recording of the show on the said day. The letter continues to ask Agudey, as he is popularly called, to also include audio recordings of which the issues of the Assembly have been discussed. This, the letter said, will enable them to determine the actual issue they are inviting him to answer for.
What is Agudey’s crime?
In the letter, the General Assembly could not pin point the actual statement or issue of which he is invited. This means Mr. Agudey is rather going to help them find a case against him.
The General Assembly will also expect Agudey to prove to the house that he has not been treating Assembly members with “disdain and disrespect in his presentations”.
