The champions of the Aseda FM Science and Maths Quiz 2025, Kwabenakwa M/A Junior High School, have received an extraordinary reward for their outstanding performance. On Friday, September 26, 2025, Mr. Eugene Kofi Amankwah fulfilled his promise to the victorious school by presenting them with a special travel package, cementing this year’s edition as one of the most memorable yet.
At a brief presentation ceremony, Mr. Amankwah handed over five domestic round-trip Passion Air tickets to the winning school. The package covers:
- Three outstanding students who represented Kwabenakwa JHS in the contest,
- One teacher who guided and prepared the team, and
- One official from the Obuasi East Municipal Education Directorate.
In addition to the flight tickets, Mr. Amankwah pledged to take care of their meals at an exclusive restaurant in Accra, ensuring the winners enjoy a well-deserved celebratory experience.
Details of the Trip
The travel experience is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025. The itinerary is as follows:
- Departure from Obuasi at 7:00 AM to Kumasi.
- Boarding a Passion Air flight from Kumasi to Accra.
- Spending the day in Accra, where the group will enjoy fine dining and sightseeing.
- Returning the same evening with Passion Air from Accra to Kumasi, and then back to Obuasi.
This gesture not only rewards the hard work and brilliance of the students but also exposes them to new experiences beyond the classroom, inspiring them to aim higher in their academic pursuits.
A Promise Fulfilled
Mr. Eugene Kofi Amankwah made this promise immediately after Kwabenakwa JHS clinched victory in the grand final of the Aseda FM Science and Maths Quiz 2025. The school emerged champions after defeating Apitikooko JHS and SDA JHS in a nail-biting final, finishing with 69 points.
