Love Chapel A/G at Obuasi Abompe Donates food items to Church members on Easter Sunday

The Assemblies of God, Love Chapel, in Obuasi Abompekrom led by Rev. Daniel Adabanka has donated food items to its members on Easter Sunday. A month ago, the President of Ghana imposed restrictions on movements and gatherings due to the novel COVID-19. Since then church gatherings have been cancelled in the country as a way to help stop the spread of the virus. But that couldn’t stop the Head Pastor at the Love chapel from showing love to his members on Easter.

The Pastor visited the homes of his church members and presented them with food items to help them cope with the lockdown in other parts of the country. Rev. Daniel Adabanka speaking to Wundef TV said he carried out the kind gesture due to the fact that most of his members are traders and because of the lockdown, they can’t travel to Accra or Kumasi to buy items for their businesses so it was therefore necessary for the church to intervene to make their Easter memorable.

Ghana has recorded 566 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the first case was recorded in middle of March this year.
