The Obuasi East Constituency Secretary for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. William Kofi Adzowu a.k.a Biggie on Tuesday slapped the Executive Producer for Obuasi based Shaft 98.1 FM Morning Show , Mr. Prince Kwame Aboagye for what he calls bias on the side of the Morning show crew for not obeying him, a panelist’s order to discuss a topic which was not slated for that fateful Tuesday.
According to Mr. Prince Kwame Aboagye, an incident happened between the NDC, Obuasi West Women’s organizer and the NPP Obuasi West Secretary during the District review on the Ec’s registration for freshers which was to be discussed on the morning show, but due to the unavailability of the two executives,the producers and host decided to treat the topic another day.
The decision to treat the topic another day didn’t go well with the NDC General Secretary who was a co panelist on the show but started casting insinuations at the morning show team and subsequently slapped the executive Producer from the back.
Obuasitoday.com contacted the victim who is currently suffering from severe headache and he had this to say;
“On Tuesday, we planned to discuss the aftermath of the Electoral Commission’s fresh registration and the matters arising;but the NPP Executive member who we wanted to speat to on phone was at that same time on Obuasi FM (ofm) as a panelist,so we had to sign out since our time was up,but Mr. Adzowu insisted we call the NDC Women Organizer which we declined”, he stated.
“We went outside and Mr. William started insulting my personality and other media persons who are behind Obuasi Must Live Coalition for taken money from AngloGold Ashanti, Obuasi Mine.
