A 16 year old final year student of Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High school, Kumasi Bridget Osei Bonsu Gyimah, aka Queen B, has been adjudged Miss Royal 2025.
She was deemed the best out of the 12 contestants who participated in the RoyalFest2025 beauty contest during SRC Week 2025, marking a night of “glam and greatness.”
Born in the mining town of Obuasi, Bridget showcased amazing confidence and complete understanding of issues. Aside from her sparkling beauty, Bridget was at her eloquence best throughout the competition, dazzling both the students and judges on the day.
Speaking after winning the ultimate diadem, Miss Gyimah told reporters that her boldness and confidence were key attributes that won her the crown.
The visibly excited Bridget dedicated her award to her grandmum, who she said has been a role model and a source of inspiration to her, growing up.
The General Arts student said winning the contest has given her the impetus to aim higher achieve greater heights.
She said she expects to win more beauty contests, saying the sky has always been her limit. She assured her fans and family that she would not let them down but would work harder to achieve greater things.
As a project, she said she has started a menstrual hygiene programme to sensitize school girls and boys to accept that menstruation is a normal fact of life.
She said her goal is to ensure that menstrual poverty would be a thing of the past, creating an environment where menstruation will not be a barrier for academic excellence among girls.
Winning this competition means that Bridget will represent the school at the national level, a contest she said she is looking forward to winning. ” I have set my eyes on the national contest.
