The Municipal Chief Executive of Obuasi, Hon Elijah Adansi Bonah threw a challenge, on Saturday, to all past MCE’s of the NDC in Obuasi to face him in a debate on their infrastructural development. He said he has performed better than the NDC in Obuasi in their last four years.
When the call came, Akwasi Agyemang Boadi, former MCE of Obuasi, on Aseda FM’s National Interest hosted by Barima Kwadwo Anokye Gyamfi on Saturday evening accepted the challenge. He said he had been waiting for such an opportunity.
“This is an opportunity I have been anxiously waiting for. I won’t add the construction of boreholes to my achievements but Bonnah is free to add them to his but I will still win hands down!” The former MCE, popularly known as Zubah said.
Today, the NDC officially released a statement accepting the challenge. The press release which was made available to Obuasitoday stated that the party is ever ready for the debate.
