Underground mining alliance(UMA) supports Galaxy Foundation Hope Project 2025. The project is aimed at providing free surgeries to over 100 deprived people for free.
Galaxy Foundation Ghana is a non-profit organization that seeks to bring hope to the medically hopeless in rural Ghana by providing free reconstructive and general surgeries to needy people. The foundation corrects anomalies and deformities such as cleft lips and palate, post burns contractures, keloids, fused fingers and toes, and other swellings for free.

The Operations Manager Mr Van Oscar, The project manager Mr Lawrence Tuckson and the Finance supervisor Mr Joseph Van Yaw Addo were present to hand over a cheque of Twenty thousand five hundred cedis to Galaxy Foundation- David Hagan- CEO & Founder, Prince Osei – Project manager.
Speaking to Galaxy Foundation Project manager, they’ve started with awareness creation and registration at St. Jude Hospital, Mary Akoto Hospital and Galaxy Foundation main Office. The screening of registered patients is scheduled on 29th and 30th August 2025. Which the surgery will follow after a month of screening.
