Performance Criteria

Main Purpose ( Role) :

Must be able to understand drilling tools, consumables, and procedure   Able to interpret geological drilling plan   Always manage SAFETY compliance   Able to understand geological drilling plan or parameters   Drive very well and safely to and from underground   Ensure personal safety, others, equipment and working environment   Work under little supervision

Key  Performance Area (  Responsibilities)

Have in-depth knowledge in simple and complex hydraulic schematics   Understand the concept of the gear train and power transfer in application to Rigs   Knowledge in hydraulic systems and its application with respect to Rigs   Ability to assemble and disassemble mechanical components   Ability to interpret engineering drawings in relation to task.   Prepare daily rig reports   Put in place well-planned maintenance programs to keep Rigs healthy   Operate Jack Hammer and Rig Anchoring   Work on downhole survey cameras and orientation tools   Knowledge of Surface and underground SOPs, and other standard requirements   Knowledge in BLY LM 90, Atlas Copco Diamec 262, DBC ESD5, DBC ESD9, etc.   Knowledge in FL Rock -D65, ECR 12 & 18, Autex X350 etc.

Qualifications

Formal Qualification Required	Essential / Advantageous
Must have a JHS, SHS, NVTI, HND Certificate or its equivalent relevant           Job-related           certificates          and testimonials are required must possess a valid driver’s license (B, E or better) Must have no criminal record must be Medically fit to work underground	Essential

Mincom HSE/H&S/S Officer’s Competency Certificate is a plus   Must have an active Frist Aid training certificate from St John Ambulance or red cross.
