Reverend Ing. Eric Ofori Broni, Director of Engineering at AngloGold Ashanti and a pastor, has launched three inspirational Christian books aimed at helping individuals understand their eternal destiny, discover their purpose, and develop a deeper relationship with God.
The books were unveiled during a special Book Launch Ceremony held at Covenant House Chapel, Ridge-Obuasi, on Sunday, 26th July 2026.
The ceremony brought together clergy, Christian leaders, family members, book lovers and members of the public who gathered to celebrate the author’s contribution to Christian literature.

Speaking during the launch, Rev. Ing. Broni explained that each book addresses a critical area of Christian living and personal development.
According to him, “The Verdict” focuses on the eternal destiny of every individual and challenges readers to examine whether their names are written in the Book of Life as referenced in the Bible.
He explained that worldly achievements, wealth and success have little meaning if an individual fails to secure eternal life.
“If you spend everything on this earth, if you achieve everything on this earth, and your name is not written in the Book of Life, then you are doomed,” he stated.
On his second book, “Necessity Is Laid on Me,” Rev. Ing. Broni said the book is centred on helping people understand their calling and assignment in life.
He noted that every individual has a responsibility to faithfully manage whatever God has entrusted into their hands, whether their assignment is spiritual or secular.
“It does not matter whether your calling is spiritual or secular. The most important thing is that you need to be faithful and understand that you are a steward of whatever God has entrusted into your hands,” he explained.
The third book, “The Upper Room Experience,” focuses on prayer and intimacy with God.
Rev. Ing. Broni described the upper room as a spiritual place where believers wait on God through prayer and receive divine direction and blessings.
He explained that while the supper room represents nourishment and the throne room represents God’s presence and authority, the upper room serves as the place where believers seek God through prayer and spiritual preparation.
“The upper room is the mediator between the supper room and the throne room. That is where you are in a waiting room to receive from above,” he said.
