AngloGold Ashanti Limited (Ghana/Tanzania Business Unit) is seeking experienced and self-motivated persons to join their Regional HR team as:
Regional HR Learning and Capability Manager
ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
Responsible for all Talent Management processes and activities; Leadership Development of the company’s leaders at Stratum level III and below, and for managing the Organisation Effectiveness platform across the BU. Provide strategic planning and delivery of best practice on integrated talent management practices, provide support and thought leadership and work closely with the Senior Human Resource Business Partners and business leaders.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Drive and implement Talent and Organisational Effectiveness frameworks and strategies to ensure AGA has the right people, leadership, high performance culture and capability to meet the existing and future business objectives. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures, the incumbent will have a network of internal and external resources to draw on for the successful execution of responsibilities.
Support the design and facilitation of Organizational Development assessments and interventions to improve working groups’ effectiveness and performance. Aid all development and implementation processes for Organisational Capability and coordinate with various teams and implement appropriate interventions to ensure fit-for-purpose resolutions to achieve business objectives
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Qualification
- Minimum Postgraduate in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology or Organisational Development
Experience
- 10 years’ experience in Human Resources, or in an Organisational Development/Effectiveness environment
- 5 years’ specialized experience in one or more of the following: Learning, Organisational Design, Change Management, Organisational Effectiveness, Talent Management
- Experience in support, consulting and facilitation skills
