The Obuasi Municipal Assembly has directed all pragya riders operating in the Municipality to close at 10 pm. The Assembly has again resolved that a maximum of three people including the rider are allowed to board pragya at any point in time.
The directive from OMA was communicated by the Presiding member of the Assembly Hon. Alexander Frimpong Boadu at a General Assembly held on Thursday, 22nd December 2022.
The new directive is targeted at reducing crime and theft involving pragya especially during the Christmas festivities.
Meanwhile, the Assembly has commenced the process to screen all pragya riders in the Municipality.
This again is geared towards preventing minors from riding pragya in the Obuasi Municipality.
