Kumawood A list actor, Nana Osei a.ka Wayoosi has chided media men to be circumspect in their reportage and always take it upon themselves to do proper checks before publishing stories.
Speaking to this reporter in a telephone interview from his hospital bed, the hilarious actor who has bed ridden for some time now but responding to treatment showed disappointment in how some media houses reported him dead somewhere last week.
‘’ Ghana can’t move forward with hearsays. A country where people don’t verify their source of information and just hold fast to it as accurate and reliable is very heinous. Though I’m in hospital I hear what is going on out there. I thank some of you who will always want to discharge your duties diligently. Since the news broke up, you are the first person I have granted interview with due to how you do your work and I think others can take a cue out of it.’’ He lamented.
Nana Osei Kofi is currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital (KATH), where his friends in the entertainment industry and love ones are trooping in to support him both in cash and in kind
Mr. Abraham Davids a.k.a Salinko, was the first to visit him and took pictures with him to refute his death allegation.
The first gentleman of the land, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama also donated GHȻ5000.00 to support him.
