The maiden edition of the competition is set to come off on the 27th of August, 2016. at Champion Maclean joint 7:00pm.

According to the organizer Noah Lartey a DJ and Technician at O FM 107.7 in Obuasi, known on the airwaves as DJ Lacuna, has said it has always been his dream to help unearth the talent buried in any young and enthusiastic human being who really wants to showcase his or her God giving gift.

‘’ what I have realized in Adansi and it environs is that, there are a lot of young boys and girls out there who has disk joking zeal in them. Wherever you pass you hear people calling themselves DJ this and DJ that. At first I thought it was just a mere nick name but upon further enquires I realized most of them are DJ prospect so I thought it wise to help them come to the limelight.’’ He said

The technician cum DJ continued.’’ There are a lot of giveaways to be given to the best performers. The prizes are very handsome. Computers, laptops, 500 megabytes hard drive, home theatres and many more prizes will be given away to best participants. I had wanted to make this one a secret but it has become necessary for me to let everyone know that somebody can become worker at either O FM or a sister radio station if only the person is able to meet the standard of a radio DJ.’’ HE stated categorically.

He also spelt out the procedures to becoming a participant ‘’ It’s very simple, just believe in yourself and pick a form from O FM front desk at GHȻ20 and you are eligible to take part. Distance is not a barrier for those from afar, interested persons should just dial 0248321355/ 0504080253.’’

Mr. Noah Lartey added that, for the sake of transparency reasons he will bring judges from Accra to prevent favoritism.

The programme gives me sleepless night. Interested persons call me at night when am in bed. I am doing my best to ensure a very entertaining night on 27th August,
