Rev. Pharm. Anthony S. Gyamfi, a respected pharmacist, entrepreneur, and pastor, will be presenting a paper at the upcoming International Conference on African Development (iCAD 2025) taking place from June 18–20, 2025, at Aston Business School, Aston University, UK.
Held under the theme “Sustainable Development and Youth Employment in Africa: Challenges and Way Forward,” the conference will feature Rev. Gyamfi’s presentation on “Youth Training and Capacity Building for Employment as Pharmacy Assistants in Ghana”. The paper focuses on a case study from Hills Training Institute, which he leads, detailing its role in equipping Ghanaian youth with skills for sustainable employment in the healthcare sector.

Rev. Gyamfi is the CEO of Hills Training Institute, Ecclesia Hill Pharmacies, and Andameson Pharmacy. He also serves as the Pharmacy Manager at Bryant Mission Hospital, bringing both administrative and frontline healthcare experience to his work. Beyond his professional and academic achievements, he is the Pastor of Church Hill in Obuasi.
His multifaceted leadership, spanning healthcare, education, and ministry, makes him a compelling voice in the conversation on development and youth empowerment in Africa. His presentation at iCAD 2025 will shed light on the powerful impact that vocational training and faith-based leadership can have in addressing youth unemployment and healthcare gaps on the continent.
Organized by the Ghana Scholarly Society in collaboration with Hills Training Institute, the conference brings together thought leaders, researchers, and practitioners from across Africa and beyond to share strategies for sustainable progress.
Rev. Gyamfi’s participation is expected to inspire practical solutions for youth development and affirm the crucial role of faith-driven leadership in national transformation.
